Made by Artisans Arts and Craft Fair

Saturday’s fair was a great success, and loads of fun, too. I met some fabulous creative people, took loads of photos, and had very sore feet by the end of the day!
I owe huge apologies to Diva Wrappings, for spending the whole day standing next to them and chatting and neglecting to take any pictures! (My excuse here is that they were still setting up when I went round doing all the pictures, so I intended to come back later and get some… and then completely forgot to actually take them!)
And a huge THANKS to Mrs Crayons, who organised the whole thing, and did a fantastic job. I’m sorry I didn’t get any pictures of her in action, so you’ll just have to take my word for it that she was calm and unflustered the whole day!
Here are just some of the pictures I took.

I spent the day next to Christine, and was captivated by watching her work. She created the most adorable little hare, with an upturned face, and the sweetest expression. Unfortunately, I’m a little scared of bodyless scuptures, so when Christine started work on her next sculpture, she kindly started with some feet! It was great fun watching her work, and I went a little mad taking loads of pictures!

I also had the pleasure of meeting Mr Hook and Scumble and their delightful girls, and I managed to persuade them to let me take some pics. Very sweetly, Mr Hook gushed about how his daughters get their good looks from the beautiful mother!

After vowing I wasn’t going to spend ANY money AT ALL during the day, I broke down towards the end and blew my budget on a fantastic ring from Nicky. Oh well, I would only have spent that money on something for my kids…

This is where I brought my other treat of the day, this adorable resin bangle. Don’t you just love it?? I knew as soon as I saw it on the table that I was going to have to get it. And it turned out that Ms PennyDog has one just like it, so we were matching for the day.

Mrs Slugs and Snails also won the best dressed table award, which was voted for by all the exhibitors.

This corner of the room smelt divine! The soaps looked and smelled good enough to eat.

Fab.
Love love love it! You definitely deserve that cake now
Thanks for putting the pictures up!
Beautiful. Thanks for sharing!!!
Super photographs Mrs Pink Milk… and we forgive you for not capturing us on film! We both had a great time, and hope that all who participated feel that we should do it again! Diva will hold its next Artisan event at our Crowland store during the first week of February 2010… with major help from Tia, naturally! We hope that a good many of you will be able to join us then.
Photos are fantastic and looking forward to my pictures of the mini hook and scumblers too !
